A beautiful barn owl amongst hellebore flowers in late winter, early spring - and surrounded by hand-drawn Celtic knotwork. The barn owl is a symbol of personal wisdom and rebirth. Beautiful for Imbolc.

I shall go into a hare, with sorrow and such meikle care. The words on this design are of a Scottish witch called Isobel Gowdie. Witches were often believed to be able to transform into hares, cats and other animals to revel or cause mischief. This design is made with love for all those who practice and all those who paid dearly for their beliefs in days gone by.
