This is the RNLI Inflatable lifeboat operating out of South Queensferry, Scotland. The Atlantic 85 is a rigid inflatable lifeboat, introduced in the latter half of 2005. It has a manually operated self-righting mechanism and is capable of being beached in an emergency without sustaining damage to engines or steering gear. The Atlantic 85 is fitted with radar and VHF direction finding equipment and can be operated safely in daylight in a force 6/7 and at night in a force 5/6. Best viewed Larger.

Double Rainbow Over Perranporth RNLI Lifeguard Perranporth Beach just as a storm approached. I risked the weather front to be rewarded with this stunning double rainbow perfectly framing the truck of the RNLI Lifeguard patrolling this lovely beach. Perranporth in Cornwall, UK has a huge beach with golden sand that is washed by the Atlantic Ocean and is a Mecca for surfers and body-boarders alike. Berwick Upon Tweed RNLI Lifeboat And Old Bridge The RNLI lifeboat was performing maneuvers and drawing a crowd from the banks and the Old Bridge that spans the river tweed. The Old Bridge, built 1610–24, from the ramparts, Berwick Bridge, also known as the Old Bridge, spans the River Tweed in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, England. Mumbles Pier Centenary Clock This clock was part of The Mumbles100 year celebration back in 1998 and now with the new phase of the Pier near completion and our 125th Birthday next May it seems only fitting to restore this beloved piece and give it a new home on the Pier itself. Currently laying in wait ready for erection next week and a face lift come down and see the exciting progress. And here it is in full glory for all to see. The sandy bay at Cullercoats in the North East of England is enclosed by two small piers and was once a thriving fishing village in the early 1800s and is now home to the Dove Marine Laboratory (Newcastle University) and an RNLI Lifeboat station. This image was taken from the North end of the bay on a cold Sunday morning in November and given an artistic filter for something just that little bit different. The image is also available without the filter.

The sandy bay at Cullercoats in the North East of England is enclosed by two small piers and was once a thriving fishing village in the early 1800s and is now home to the Dove Marine Laboratory (Newcastle University) and an RNLI Lifeboat station. This image was taken from the North end of the bay just as the sun was rising above the horizon on a calm spring morning.

The old lifeboat station, in operation from 1905 until its replacement by the current station, which was completed in 2005 and houses the RNLI Tamar-class lifeboat Haydn Miller. Selective colouring has been applied to this image.
