The image was taken on the stretch of beach between Blyth and Seaton Sluice in late October looking south towards St Mary's Island which can be spotted on the horizon together with a passing tanker. The sun is partially hidden behind cloud, but is beautifully reflected in the wet sand and the waters of the North Sea.
