Train Station Platform is a black and white sketched art print of an historic train station platform. The picture is of the Issaquah, Washington Train Museum. The original station has been restored to its former look with the baggage carts still on the platform. This locomotive was built at theGreat Western Railway's Swindon works, entering service in 1925 as one of the most powerful engines on the British railway system. It was withdrawn from servuce in 1964 - a long and illustrious career and was soon bought for preservation.

This 4-6-2 tender loco was destined for South Africa where it worked hauling limestone at Port Elizabeth. In the early 1990s it was purchased by the Brecon Mountain Railway and was restored between 1993 and 1997. With faint echoes of the famous 1945 film, a couple meet on a railway station in wartime. This image was captured during a very wet WW2 re-enactment at the Mid Hants Railway.

The couple of people waiting on the station today had a very long wait due to the snow.
