Microplastics. Metaloids and rampant polution of the ocean has spawned a new creature. Octopus Prime searches land and sea to see if there are more of his kind. Depicts Little Boy, one of the Atom Bombs that brought about the end of World War II and the Beginning of the Nuclear Age and the Cold War. The words "Another Worldly Device" sounded to me like a commercial slogan and I imagined it written on the side of a device of mass destruction.

This is one of two paintings I did for an art show in the Rice Village at a Pub called Timber Wolf, with my friend and fellow artist Andy Howell. A large wolf howls at the moon and is so enthralled by the moment, he leaps into the air, and is caught up in a nebulous plasma cloud, and is transported to a place unknown.

Springtime, midmorning on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Veterans Memorial Dr. overpassing Greens Bayou. It looked beautiful on Friday on my way to work, but I thought the overnight rains would have ruined it by Saturday. It still looked gorgeous the next day and I stopped and tried to capture it.
