Two Very Good Bois rescue a stranded traveler from the snow in this vintage painting. St. Bernards don't judge you when you go out into bad weather and get stuck in the mountains--they just lick your hand and hand out the bourbon.

A painting from 1908. The hunter (who kinda looks like Ron Swanson, or is that just me?) takes a rest with his dog companions, both of whom are Very Good Bois.

Our masthead cat loves classical literature. See our collection of classical literary cat-reading. Right now she's enjoying TS Eliot and looking forward to the new Cats movie!

Some days mortality stares you right in the face...and grins. Here's a vintage drawing of a human skull to remind you of oncoming doom...or just to be spooky for Halloween.
All that work. All those studies. All those hours spent in the library copying the Lan Clan's 3,000 rules 400 times. And all you got was this lousy T-shirt.
This skull should have brushed his teeth! A vintage skull drawing to spook things up for Halloween or just to remind us all of the perils of mortality and the benefits of good oral hygiene.

A quote from one of my favorite poems, "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock," by T.S. Eliot. T.S. Eliot won the Nobel Prize in 1948, so I'm sure he'd be happy to see his words on a T-shirt. (He also wrote the poetry that became "Cats" on Broadway. Has any other Nobel Prize winner been immortalized on Broadway with people dressed as cats? I THINK NOT!)
Wise words from Virginia Woolf: "I will not be "famous," "great." I will go on adventuring, changing, opening my mind and my eyes, refusing to be stamped and stereotyped. The thing is to free one's self: to let it find its dimensions, not be impeded."

Oscar Wilde, who wrote "The Picture of Dorian Grey," "The Importance of Being Earnest," and other works, drops some serious philosophy here. A great gift for the writer or literature-lover in your family! (Quote from Lady Windermere's Fan)
