Invert, or sexual inversion, is an outdated medical term for gender non-conforming gay and trans people in late 19th century Europe. The subtle rainbow pride flag has inverted colors based on the RGB color wheel.
The rainbow gay pride flag, originally designed by Gilbert Baker, has become a cultural phenomenon representing the LGBT community. Each stripe color represents an aspect of humanity: sex, life, healing, sunlight, nature, magic/art, serenity, and spirit. This contains the original eight colors, rather then the six more commonly seen today.

This is a labrys, outlined by a soaring bird, emerging from a waxing (growing phase) moon. The labrys represents lesbian and feminist strength. The moon = a woman’s menstrual cycle. The bird could represent freedom, but honestly it just looks cool.
The inner silhouette is a ceremonial Minoan labrys, the outer blades is a double-headed axe, and the handle intersects the blades to form a pair of XX’s which, intersex conditions being an exception, represents the sex chromosomes of a pair of women.
