I saw this view of the Baltimore skyline and harbor with its many boats while I was standing on the patio of the Museum of Industry.

The shore of St. George's Harbour was the site of the first settlements in Bermuda in the 17th century and in the 19th century, the Royal Navy established a base there. Today, St. George looks much as it did then with its colonial charm preserved.

Philipsburg is the capital of Sintt Maarten, the Dutch side of the island of St. Martin. The main shopping district, Front Street, is one of the Caribbean's best shopping spots.

San Juan is one of Puerto Rico's most important seaports as well as its capitol. It has one of the biggest and best natural harbors in the Caribbean.

With its swaying palm trees, turquoise waters and lovely beaches St. Thomas, Virgin Islands is a perfect travel and honeymoon destination.

On a recent cruise to the Bahamas, we took the ferry from Nassau to Paradise Island where we spent a lovely day. These buildings in the typical pastel Caribbean colors were near the ferry slip and were the last thing we saw as the ferry boat pulled away.

Bridgetown Barbados waterfront is a favorite destination in the Caribbean, where tourists can enjoy lunch, watch the boats and have a peaceful afternoon.

San Juan Puerto Rico was the starting and ending point of a cruise my family and I took. I especially enjoyed the colorful buildings which are a little brighter than in other parts of the Caribbean. You can see some of these buildings in the background of this outdoor art show.
