My first venture out with my new camera! The dawn sky was very interesting and the heavy frost on the wooden staithes was very slippery but I was pleased with this effort.

Strong winds and rough seas at the beginning of February produced some spectacular sights as the waves crashed against the lighthouse on the end of the pier protecting the mouth of the River Blyth and the entrance to the Port of Blyth harbour in Northumberland.
