A watercolour painting on paper depicting a rose and leaves with cypher runes hidden in the flower for the purpose of a personal amulet. Since it’s a personal amulet, the original is not for sale
These apples are from our apple tree, the one we still have in our garden. When we moved here, we had two trees. One of them was really old and not looking healthy, so the following year we had to cut it down. That first year we got 30 kg (~ 60 lbs) of apples, and I made both wine and cider, plus gave away two bags full to a neighbour, and some to the neighbourhood cows. The painting was done in watercolour on watercolour paper.

Aud Rye created a challenge to make something from two reference photos she shared on facebook.I chose to work in acrylics, and I also did some marker lines on this one, for fun. I did a variation of one of the edited photos she posted later, to get more orange, since I had a blue/purple background in mind.
